April 2024 Program is Set!


“Skeletons in the Closet," a free, educational program hosted by the Cheyenne Genealogical &

Historical Society, will be presented on Tuesday, April 9th in the Cottonwood Room of the Laramie

County Library in Cheyenne. The program will be presented by Robin Everett, a processing archivist

with the Wyoming State Archives. Everett has a degree in history from the University of Wyoming

and has done family history research for more than 50 years.


She will discuss the facility’s holdings which include birth, death, marriage & divorce records, territorial census

records, school records, city directories, tax records and much more.


        The meeting begins at 6:15 p.m. with a short business meeting with the program beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Guests are encouraged and welcome. The Cheyenne Genealogical and Historical Society’s mission is to

stimulate and encourage family history research through a variety of programs, projects and resources.
