Laramie County Library System  The Library is located in Cheyenne at 2200 Pioneer Avenue. Located with its Genealogy Department is the LDS Family History Center.  This joint facility is unique, but is very helpful to researchers.  The Genealogy Department can be reached at 307-634-3561 Ext. 5339

Wyoming State Archives This record repository is located in the Barrett Building at 2301 Central Avenue in the State Govenrment Complex. Telephone is 307-777-7826, and fax is 307-777-7044.  You can also contact them at wyarchive@state.wy.us

Wyoming Newspaper Project -  Discover the stories that formed Wyoming, through the Wyoming Newspaper Project. For the sheer volume of information they contain, newspapers are the single most important printed record of human activity. Historians, genealogists, and other scholars rely on them to provide a first-hand and sometimes the only account of local news. Available through this website are all the newspapers printed in Wyoming between 1849 and 1922, in an easily searchable format.

Wyoming State Historical Society  The Wyoming State Historical Society began in 1953 and provides direction and support for historical research and preservation in Wyoming. Made up of members across Wyoming, as well as from outside the borders of Wyoming and the United States, the Society is open to any individual interested in history of Wyoming and the West.
