Carpenter, Wyoming Cemetery
The Carpenter Cemetery is located in Eastern Laramie County, Wyoming on Highway 214, 1/4 mile west of the town of Carpenter. The first burial was Ernestine W. Quade Bachert in 1909. According to the cemetery records, there are many burials in this cemetery that have no tombstones; they either never had a marker or the markers deteriorated with the weather. There are also tombstones with no dates, only names. This information came from the original cemetery record book provided by Francis Oline of Cheyenne, Wyoming, who was the past president of the Carpenter Cemetery Association, obituaries from the local newspapers, death records and birth records from the State of Wyoming.
